Chamomile Farming
Our story is about passion and perseverance.
Founded in 2003. From humble beginnings of only a handful of chickens and modest crops that were used as a self sufficient way to feed our household and growing family.
After some time had passed our chicken and laying capacity grew from a few to 50 then 100 until we reached roughly 4000 laying hens.

Wadea Jappie
Running the office and seeing orders are distributed and accounts are all in order. Wadea has won numerous female Farmer awards in the Western Cape captivating her passion for what she does best.
Achmad Brinkhuis
Head of logistics and steering the business to where we currently find ourselves.
Nabeel Brinkhuis
Manages the vegetable productions, liaise with customers and keeps the local GAP audit affairs in order. Every year since 2015 we have been awarded certification for Local GAP.
Tawfeeq Brinkhuis
Manages the 12 000 bird house and oversees the production and distribution of the eggs. Tawfeeq was chosen by the South African Poultry Association to attend a two weeks training workshop In ATLANTA USA in 2018. How was also awarded prestige Agri worker in the 2018.

Every year since 2015 we have been awarded certification for Local GAP.

Training
